About Anastasia Baumann

Anastasia Baumann has been working for LHR as a lawyer since September 2021. She previously supported the law firm as a research assistant and trainee lawyer in sports and eSports law.

After completing her law degree at the University of Cologne, she worked as a freelancer at the Federal Institute for Sports Science in Bonn. The main focus of her work was the preparation and development of an expert opinion on the legal, sports policy and social classification of eSports in Germany. During her legal clerkship, which she completed at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, she expanded her expertise in sports law by working on fundamental and legal matters of elite and competitive sports policy of the Federal Government with a focus on "Prevention against sexualized violence in sport" at the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI) in Berlin as well as anti-doping disputes at the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) in Bonn.

The core area of her work in sports law is now deepened by the support of sports law mandates and the regular attendance of sports law-specific training courses and events.
