Step 1 — Free review check

Paste it in, have it checked, get clarity.

Our AI checks each review on two dimensions — for legal admissibility and against the platform policies we detect from the link you enter. You receive a clear initial assessment with reasoning for each review.

Involve a lawyer directly
At least one review looks challengeable.
With the removal package, our firm reviews the review as lawyers and asserts the removal claim out of court against the platform — in your name, with a copy to you.

The automated assessment is based solely on your input and does not replace individual legal advice. It is superficial and non-binding; no guarantee is given for accuracy or for the success of a removal. Only the review texts entered, the respective link and your statement about the customer contact are processed; the result appears only here on this page. An email address is not required.

How it works

Three steps from annoyance to the lawyer’s letter.

STEP 01

Paste review & link

Paste in the review text and the link to the review and state whether a customer or patient contact existed. No sign-up, no email.

STEP 02

AI initial assessment

Within seconds you receive a traffic light with reasoning for each review: good prospects, grey area or probably admissible.

STEP 03

Have it asserted by lawyers

If the check shows prospects of success, you commission us. We review the review as lawyers and assert the removal claim out of court against the platform — you receive a copy of the letter.

Step 2 — Lawyer’s removal demand

We assert your removal claim as your lawyers.

If the check shows prospects of success, we review the review as lawyers and call upon the platform to remove it — asserting your out-of-court removal and injunctive claim in your name. The letter goes to the platform on LHR letterhead, and you receive a copy. €149 net per review (businesses only).

Why a law firm?

Not everyone is allowed to draft these letters.

Drafting removal demands and choosing the right ground for removal is, according to case law, a regulated legal service. Agencies are not allowed to do it — we are.

Real legal substance

Behind every letter is the reasoning of specialist lawyers for intellectual property law — not a generic text block.

Art. 16 DSA used correctly

A well-reasoned notice triggers the platform’s statutory duty to review and remove. That is exactly what the letter is designed for.

The right ground for removal

Untrue fact, abusive criticism or another legal approach — we choose the lever with the best prospects. Case law here is strict: choosing the ground requires a genuine case-by-case assessment.

More weight with the platform

A lawyer’s letter typically makes more of an impression than a complaint from a private individual — and is usually better thought through legally. Beyond that, many platforms handle letters from lawyers differently in their internal workflows and route them more directly to the relevant review.

Why the legal part belongs in a law firm’s hands

When it comes to the legal part, case law draws a clear line: the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main ruled on 19 March 2026 (case no. 16 U 2/25) that, in particular, advertising a legal review of reviews, as well as drawing up the legal reasoning and choosing the right ground for removal, can constitute a regulated legal service that requires a lawyer’s licence (see already the judgment of 7 November 2024, case no. 6 U 90/24).

This does not mean that agency services around reviews are generally inadmissible — much of it, such as reputation management or technically reporting policy violations, is perfectly possible, and many agencies work together with law firms for the legal step. It is exactly this legally loaded part — the legal reasoning and the lawyer’s letter — that we handle: it carries more weight with the platform and avoids the risk that the removal effort is legally void.

Step 3 — Full mandate

When it gets more serious, we take over.

If the review stays online despite the notice or the case is delicate — abusive criticism, fake reviews from competitors, action against the author — our lawyers take over. Platforms respond noticeably more consistently to a lawyer’s letter.

  • Formal complaint to Google / Amazon
  • Warning and injunctive-relief claim against the author
  • Preliminary injunction when speed matters
  • Information claims for anonymous reviews

FAQ

What you should know beforehand.

A review presupposes a genuine service experience. Your answer helps us classify the case correctly and choose the right legal approach. Important: you should never untruthfully deny a contact that actually took place.

Challengeable above all are untrue factual claims as well as abusive criticism and insults; depending on the constellation, further grounds come into consideration. Purely factual value judgments, by contrast, are usually covered by freedom of expression.

Agencies are often cheaper and sensibly cover a lot around reputation. There is a limit, though, when it comes to the actual legal part: according to case law (including the Higher Regional Court of Frankfurt, case no. 16 U 2/25), advertising a legal review of reviews, as well as drawing up the legal reasoning and choosing the right ground for removal, can constitute a regulated legal service that requires a lawyer’s licence. This does not mean that agency services around reviews are generally inadmissible — much of it (reputation management, technically reporting policy violations, advice on avoiding negative reviews) is perfectly possible, and many agencies work together with law firms for the legal step. It is exactly this legally loaded part — the legal reasoning and the lawyer’s letter — that we handle: it carries more weight with the platform and avoids the risk that the removal effort is legally void.

€149 net per review (plus VAT). For this we review the review as lawyers and assert the out-of-court removal claim against the platform on LHR letterhead; you receive a copy. The offer is aimed exclusively at businesses. If the letter is not enough, we credit the fee toward further action.

The free check is an automated, superficial initial assessment. The chargeable removal package comprises the lawyer’s review of the review and the out-of-court assertion of the removal claim against the platform — on LHR letterhead, in your name. Individual representation only takes place under a full mandate.

The first demand letter gives the platform knowledge of the infringement and thereby triggers its duty to review and remove (liability from knowledge). If removal does not follow, the next step is usually not court straight away, but first a formal lawyer’s warning (“Abmahnung”). Only if that too is unsuccessful does court action follow (e.g. a preliminary injunction). We credit the fee already paid toward the further action.

For the free check we process only the review text, the link to the review and your statement about the customer contact. The result appears only here on this page — without an email address and without registration.

Many commercial legal-expenses insurers cover lawyers’ fees in full or in part — whether and to what extent depends on your policy. You receive an invoice from us that you can submit to your insurer. A contingency (success-based) fee is not permitted for lawyers (Sec. 49b BRAO).

Technically yes, via the platform’s reporting menu. But without sound legal reasoning, platforms often do not respond — and a clumsy self-report (for example, wrongly implying the author was a customer) can permanently “burn” a review that was otherwise challengeable. That reasoning is exactly what we provide.

The letter goes out shortly after you commission us. How quickly the platform reacts is up to them — anywhere from a few days to several weeks. We cannot guarantee a fixed deadline.

No. Admissible, factual opinions stay. We act only against unlawful content — untrue facts, abusive criticism / insult, or reviews with no actual contact. The free check examines exactly that boundary.

After payment, the firm drafts the letter on LHR letterhead, reviews it as lawyers and sends it to the platform in your name. You receive a copy.

Often yes. Where no identifiable business contact exists, the review lacks any factual basis — which is regularly challengeable. The individual case remains decisive.

For anonymous reviews, a right to information may apply depending on the platform and the case. For the demand letter itself the identity is usually not needed; further steps are clarified within a full mandate.

Better to hold back: a public reply can inadvertently confirm a contact or the facts and lower the chances of removal. An existing reply can be deleted before we proceed.
