\"cc\"In March 2014, we were informed of the first-instance decision of the Regional Court of Cologne obtained by our law firm (Regional Court of Cologne, judgement of 5 March 2014, Ref. 28 O 232\/13<\/a>not legally binding). In this report, Deutschlandradio was ordered to cease and desist and pay damages in respect of a photographic work created by our client.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit was filed by a photographer who published his photographic works under the \u201cCreative Commons Licence Attribution-NonCommercial 2.0\u2033<\/a> to the public for use. The defendant was Deutschlandradio, a public corporation, which had made a photographic work by the plaintiff publicly accessible on the website dradiowissen.de operated by it to illustrate a contribution there.
