About Andreas Biesterfeld-Kuhn

Andreas Biesterfeld-Kuhn has been working for LHR as a lawyer since February 2012. He is a specialist lawyer for copyright and media law and a recognized expert in these areas of law.

After completing his studies at the University of Hamburg, he also completed his legal clerkship in the Hanseatic city. This took him to the legal department of an international consumer goods group, where he worked extensively in the field of intellectual property law. Following this, Mr. Biesterfeld-Kuhn worked for several years in a law firm in Munich specializing in copyright law.

As a person with an affinity for art and culture, Biesterfeld-Kuhn appreciates working with players in the creative industries and with publishers. Living in the fashion city of Düsseldorf, he is also a predestined contact when it comes to design rights. Attorney Biesterfeld-Kuhn loves good food and does a lot of sport. It was therefore only natural that he should become our expert in food and dietary supplement law. Building on this, he has also developed extensive expertise in the law of pharmaceuticals and cosmetic products. He also handles press and trademark law mandates at our firm.

Due to his one-year studies at the Université Paris I - Panthéon/Sorbonne, Mr. Biesterfeld-Kuhn not only has an excellent command of English, but is also business fluent in French.
